PrizePicks payout chart
PickFinder Team•Updated:
A PrizePicks Power Play pays 3x for 2 picks, 6x for 3, 10x for 4, 20x for 5 and 37.5x for 6, and every pick has to hit. A Flex Play pays 2x, 3x, 6x, 10x or 25x for a perfect lineup of 2 to 6 picks, and still pays with misses: 2x for 5 of 6 and 0.4x for 4 of 6, for example.
To break even you need 54.21% per pick on a 6-pick Flex, the lowest of any play, and 61.80% on a 2-pick Flex, the highest. A tie or DNP drops the lineup one level. These are PrizePicks' standard rates for standard projections. Payouts can vary by state and by the app's current offer, and they change over time. The payout on your lineup's details screen is the one that counts.

Which PrizePicks play type is best
On break-even, 6-pick Flex and 5-pick Flex are the closest to a coin flip, at 54.21% and 54.25% per pick. A 2-pick Flex is the hardest at 61.80%. Two pairs tie because the sums reduce to the same number: 3-pick Power and 4-pick Flex at 55.03%, and 2-pick Power and 3-pick Flex at 57.74%.
Break-even isn't the whole answer. If your picks hit more often, Power pays more: at 60% per pick, a 6-pick Power returns $1.75 per $1 and a 6-pick Flex $1.66. Flex pays more often, so the swings are smaller.
For each play we solved for the win rate per pick where the average payout equals the entry fee, treating every pick as the same chance and independent. Real picks aren't: same-game picks move together. The sums also leave out leaderboard wins, which can pay a lineup that missed a pick, so real break-evens can be a little lower.
Our older post on play types uses the payouts from when it was written in 2024, so go by the numbers on this page.
What each play returns at your win rate

What a tie, DNP or reboot does
Tie (push)
The player lands exactly on the line, down to the decimal. It's neither a win nor a loss. The pick stays in the lineup and the payout drops one level.
DNP
The player doesn't play a single second or snap, or the sport's own bar isn't met: PrizePicks says soccer players must start to count as active. The pick comes out and the lineup drops one level.
Reboot
The injury rule for the NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB and college football. You picked More on a full-game line, the player left in the first half and didn't come back. The pick comes out like a DNP, and it scores no leaderboard points. Less picks score as normal. Sport rules vary, and no opt-in is needed.
Each DNP, reboot or tie counts, so two in one lineup drop it two levels. If DNPs or reboots leave players from only one team, you get an automatic refund.
The other way to win: Leaderboard
Lineups go into a group. The highest score in the group wins the rates below, even if it missed a pick. A lineup can't collect both: you get the higher of this and the tables above.
Each win scores 1 point on a standard projection, 1.05 on a demon, and 0.95 on a goblin, discounted or stacked projection. A tied group splits the payout.
Why your payout can differ from the chart
Goblins and demons
Each one changes the multiplier on your lineup. See the goblin and demon guide below.
Players from the same game
PrizePicks says lineups with several athletes in the same game may have reduced rates.
Promotions
Promo contests can change the rate. Bonus Lineups take the prepaid entry fee out of the payout.
Team Picks
Adding Team Picks recalculates the payout. Those lineups are Power Play only, and every Team Pick must be correct.

What does a Flex Play pay if I miss one?
6 picks 2x, 5 picks 2x, 4 picks 1.5x, 3 picks 1x, 2 picks 0.5x. With 2 misses, 6 picks and 5 picks both pay 0.4x. Lineups of 4 or fewer pay nothing with 2 misses.
What is the best PrizePicks play type?
On break-even, 6-pick Flex at 54.21% per pick and 5-pick Flex at 54.25%. If your picks hit more often, Power pays more: at 60% per pick, a 6-pick Power returns $1.75 per $1 and a 6-pick Flex $1.66.
What win rate do I need on PrizePicks?
Between 54.21% and 61.80% per pick, depending on the play. A 2-pick Power needs 57.74%, the same as odds of -137 per pick. A 5-pick Flex needs 54.25%, the same as -119.
What happens if a pick ties on PrizePicks?
A player who lands exactly on the line ties, or pushes. The pick stays in the lineup but the payout drops one level, so a 4-pick Power pays like a 3-pick Power. On a 2-pick lineup, 1 correct and 1 tie pays 1.5x, and 1 loss and 1 tie is a loss.
What happens if a player does not play?
The pick is marked DNP and removed, and the lineup drops one level. A 2-pick lineup with a DNP is refunded. Some sports set their own bar: PrizePicks says soccer players must start the game to count as active.
What is a reboot on PrizePicks?
Its injury rule for the NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB and college football. If you pick More on a full-game line and the player leaves in the first half and doesn't return, the pick comes out like a DNP and the lineup drops one level. Less picks score as normal. MLB batters qualify with 2 or fewer plate appearances.
Do PrizePicks payouts change by state?
PrizePicks publishes one standard table but says payouts can differ between lineups, based on things like the lineup type, promotions and league rules. Colorado residents need at least 3 picks, so they can't play a 2-pick lineup. Payouts can vary by state and by the app's current offer, and they change over time. The payout on your lineup's details screen is the one that counts.
Why was my payout different from the chart?
Goblins and demons change the rate, and so can several players from the same game, promotions, and adding Team Picks. Bonus Lineups also take the prepaid entry fee out of the payout.
Can I cash out a PrizePicks lineup early?
Some lineups can use the Early Payout slider. PrizePicks' estimates include about 3.2x for 2 of 3 correct and about 19.6x for 5 of 6 correct, and the real number moves with live scores. Lineups using Bonus Balance, discounted projections or Team Picks can't use it.
