What this means for the line

  1. The match result does most of the work

A straight-sets win adds 6 for sets on top of the game margin. A straight-sets loss takes 6 away, so a 6-4, 6-4 loser lands on 0 before serving stats.

  2. Long matches don't help much

Games won and lost cancel out, so a tight three-setter scores less than a blowout. That's why the matchup and the win chance matter as much as the player's level.

  3. Aces add slowly

Ten aces are worth 5 points, the same as five games won. Big servers lift the score, but less than the result does.

Other sports

Scoring is different in each sport: soccer, NBA, NFL, MLB. A DNP or a tie changes what your lineup pays: see the PrizePicks payout chart.

PrizePicks tennis fantasy score FAQ

How is tennis fantasy score calculated on PrizePicks?

Start with 10 points for playing. Add 1 per game won and take 1 per game lost. Add 3 per set won and take 3 per set lost. Add 0.5 per ace and take 0.5 per double fault.

Can a tennis player score zero on PrizePicks?

Yes. A player who loses 6-4, 6-4 scores 10 + 8 - 12 - 6 = 0 before aces and double faults. A heavier loss goes below zero before serving stats.

What is a good tennis fantasy score?

It depends on the result. A 6-3, 6-3 win scores 10 + 12 - 6 + 6 = 22 before aces and double faults. Compare the line with the player's recent scores, not a fixed number.

Where is the official tennis chart?

PrizePicks states these values in its tennis previews on its website. PrizePicks keeps its full scoring chart in the app, under Help Center and then Scoring Chart. That chart is the final word, including what happens when a game is canceled or postponed.
