Using goalie saves on a prop

  1. Read the keeper first

Kristijan Kahlina clears 3.5 saves in 48% of starts: 16 of 33. The MLS rate for that line is 40%.

  2. Look across the field

Saves come from the other team's shooting. LA Galaxy forces 3.97 saves a match (4.71 at home, 3.19 away), so that matchup raises any keeper's number.

  3. Separate busy from good

Kristijan Kahlina faces 6.09 shots on target per 90 and stops 76%, averaging 3.59 saves at home and 5.75 away. A keeper who concedes more makes fewer saves on the same shots.

  4. Check today's line

Today's MLS saves lines and each keeper's hit rate against that exact line are in PickFinder.

How this is counted

Counts starting goalkeepers in 493 MLS matches in the 2026 season, Feb 21, 2026 to Nov 2, 2026. A rung is the share of starts strictly over the line. Shots on target faced is saves plus goals conceded, so it includes penalties and own goals. Save % is saves divided by that total. "vs line" is over the posted main saves line out of games with one. 32 keepers with 13 or more starts are shown. Forced saves come from the opposing keeper's team stats for each match. Only matches with full Opta coverage in OpticOdds are counted, so a match with missing stats never reads as zeros.
