Tour level only: ATP hard events, the Grand Slams and the Finals. Challenger and WTA 125 matches have their own view, because mixing them would flatter anyone who plays down a level. Minimum 15 finished best-of-three matches in the last 52 weeks.

Men's Grand Slam main draws are best of five and are left out above. They average 36.4 games over 245 matches: 47% in straight sets and 20% go the distance.

The price says more than a player's average

A player's own average barely carries over: the first 26 weeks correlate only 0.18 with the last 26 across 85 ATP players. The favorite's closing price tells you more about how long a match will be.

Using total games profile on a prop

  1. Read the player ladder

Alexander Bublik has cleared 22.5 games in 63% of 19 matches. Jannik Sinner has cleared it in 25% of 20. The ATP hard average is 48%.

  2. Check the price

A big favorite shortens the match. Favorites at 50% to 60% average 24.6 games and clear 22.5 in 55%. Favorites at 90% and up average 19.9 and clear it in 18%.

  3. Check the serving matchup

Both hold above average: 24.7 games and a tiebreak in 53% of matches. Both hold below average: 24 games and 36%.

  4. Don't lean on one number

A player's own average barely repeats. The first 26 weeks correlate 0.18 with the last 26 across 85 players, so use it with the price and the matchup. Today's line and the hit rate against it are in PickFinder.

How this is counted

Counts finished best-of-three singles matches, Nov 2, 2025 to Nov 2, 2026. Total games adds both players' games from the set scores, and a tiebreak counts as one game, the way books grade the prop. Tiebreak rate is the share of matches with at least one tiebreak. Price bands use the favorite's closing no-vig chance. The serving matchup compares each player's hold % with the average of the qualifying players. Retired matches and walkovers are left out. Best-of-five Grand Slam matches are left out of the table and reported on their own. Tour level means ATP events, the Grand Slams and the Finals, qualifying included. Challenger and WTA 125 matches are left out and have their own view, because they would flatter anyone who plays down a level. Team cups are left out too. A player needs 15+ matches to appear. Hard includes indoor hard.
