Spreads and moneylines are two prices on the same game, and historical results tie them together: teams that close as -5 favorites in the NFL win the game outright at a rate that implies roughly -235 on the moneyline. Pick a league (NFL, NCAAF, or NBA) and a spread, and this converter shows the implied moneyline for both the favorite and the underdog based on years of closing-line data.
It is a fast way to spot the better-priced market. If the spread implies a -235 moneyline but a book is offering the favorite at -200, the moneyline is the stronger bet: you are getting the same team at a discount. The comparison works in reverse for underdog value too.
