Using kill environment on a prop
Find the opponent
Say your player faces Cloud9 New York. Opposing players average 20.3 kills per map there, against 19 league-wide, which is where the index of 104 comes from.
Check it isn’t just the schedule
Vs own avg compares each opposing player with their own average. Cloud9 New York shows +1.51, and players beat their own average 64% of the time. A high index with a flat number here points to the schedule, not the team.
Use the mode
Maps 1-3 are usually Hardpoint, Search & Destroy and Overload. Check the mode columns, because a team can be soft in one and tight in another. Also, 21% of Cloud9 New York's best-of-fives went to a fifth map, against 25% overall, which matters for lines that count a later map.

How this is counted
Window: the CDL 2026 season, Dec 5, 2025 to Aug 9, 2026. Counts CDL league events and the World Cup: 317 series and 1,253 maps. CDC and community cups are left out, and World Cup teams are merged with their league team by roster. Forfeits and rows that disagree with the series score are removed. Kills conceded add up every opposing player's kills on each map. The index is the team's number against the league average, with 100 as average, worked out inside each mode and then averaged, because modes run at very different kill totals. Vs own avg compares each opposing player's kills with their own average in this sample, for players with 10 or more maps. 5-map rate is the share of best-of-fives went to a fifth map. Series with a stand-in or a missing row are left out of team numbers. Minimum 20 maps, 13 teams qualify, and at most 60 are shown, sorted by index.
