College football has more than 130 FBS teams and wildly uneven schedules. A star receiver can post 200 yards against a Group of Five team in September and 70 against a ranked defense in November, and both games sit in the same average. That's why CFB props need more than a season number. This guide walks through one line in PickFinder: Jeremiah Smith's receiving yards for Ohio State against Oregon on November 7, 2026.
The college football props board lists each line from PrizePicks, Underdog and the other apps with hit rates, the opponent's defensive rank and the moneyline. Filter by game to focus on the matchups you know, or sort by the L10 column to find the most consistent players.
Smith's line was 95.5 receiving yards. His average over the last 10 games was 136.8, more than 40 yards above the line, yet he cleared it only 6 times (60%). Two huge games, 217 against Illinois and 206 at Iowa, pull the average up. His last three games went 93, 68 and 83, all under.
This is the most common trap in college props. The average says easy over; the game log says it's close to a coin flip, and the recent trend points down. Read the hit rates across windows: 40% over his last 5 games, 60% over 10, 50% for the season.
College ranks run to the bottom of FBS, so a rank of 60 is mid-pack. Oregon allowed 45.7 receiving yards a game to wide receivers, 118th on the season but 75th over its last 10 games and 88th over its last 5. That's a defense that struggled early and has improved, so the season rank overstates how soft it is now. It held receivers to 3 catches a game over the last 10 (27th, labeled Tough).
The Rankings tab shows each team's last five results. Ohio State had won four straight before losing 30-18 at USC, its lowest-scoring game of the stretch. Oregon was 3-2 over the same span, with losses to Illinois and UCLA. The Odds tab had Ohio State 72% to win, a 7.5-point favorite with a total of 45.5. A modest total in a game between two good defenses usually means fewer yards to go around.
